This Super Green Smoothie is perfect for superloading with phytonutrients such as iodine, protein, choline, magnesium and more!! That's the great thing about smoothies isn't it!? You can pack so much into them, they're super quick to make and can enjoy them almost anywhere. Yeah, I'm a huge fan!!

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 230 ml water
  • 240 ml soy milk (or any plant based milk)
  • 29 g spinach
  • ½ tbsp lecithin granules
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • 1 banana medium
  • 23 g hemp protein powder * see notes
  • 27 g rolled oats use gluten free if required
  • 100 g strawberries frozen
  • 70 g avocado (half an avocado)

Instructions
 

  • Add water, soy milk and spinach to blender and blend until smooth.
    230 ml water , 240 ml soy milk, 29 g spinach
  • Add remaining ingredients.
    ½ tbsp lecithin granules, 1 tsp spirulina, 1 banana, 23 g hemp protein powder, 27 g rolled oats, 100 g strawberries, 70 g avocado
  • Enjoy!

Notes

So power-packed with nutrients this is the best smoothie to keep you going. If you did suffer from the dreaded morning sickness - and as we know, can occur all day - once it has passed this is the perfect smoothie to up those nutrients. Other superfoods that you could add are wheatgrass, chlorella, and maca. 
* some people prefer not to use protein powders, and that is totally fine. if you would like to substitute the protein powder for silken tofu, use approximately 115g of silken tofu and reduce the water quantity down to 130-180ml.
