This Vegan Chocolate Oat Cookies recipe is a quick and easy recipe for some chocolate cookies that you can make on some cupboard staples. They are sugar free and get their sweetness solely from raisins and you have the option to add some chocolate chips if you have them at home. They are less than 100 calories per cookie so feel free to enjoy when you are feeling like something sweet during the day.

Ingredients
- 225 g rolled oats (gluten free if required)
- 59 g raisins
- 2 ½ tbsp cacao powder
- 30 g desiccated coconut
- ½ tbsp blackstrap molasses
- 1 tbsp tahini raw, unhulled
- 120 ml water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit / 180 degrees Celsius
- Add all dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl225 g rolled oats, 59 g raisins, 2 ½ tbsp cacao powder, 30 g desiccated coconut
- Add all wet ingredients and mix well½ tbsp blackstrap molasses, 1 tbsp tahini, 120 ml water
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper
- Scoop out a large tablespoon worth of mix and flatten with the palm of your hand. Make a criss-cross on the top with a fork
- Place on parchment paper
- Repeat with remaining mix
- Top with sprinkles of desiccated coconut if desired
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes
- Allow to cool before serving
- Store in an air-tight container
